COACHING EXPERIENCE
Kevin Patullo enters his second season with the Bills as offensive quality control coach. Patullo also works with the wide receivers and assisted in the development of the team’s young receiving corps in 2010. He coordinates the club’s offensive self-scouting duties and is responsible for computer analysis, statistical and video breakdowns of opponents on a weekly basis.
Patullo spent 2007-08 with the Kansas City Chiefs as an offensive assistant/quality control. He also worked with the wide receivers and helped tutor Dwayne Bowe to his first 1,000-yard season in 2008 (1,022 receiving yards). In 2007, Bowe led all NFL rookies in receptions (70) and receiving yards (995). Prior to joining the Chiefs, Patullo served three years (2004-06) as an offensive graduate assistant working under head coach Mike Stoops at the University of Arizona. Patullo worked closely with the quarterbacks and helped tutor QB Willie Tuitama, who was named Pac 10 Freshman of the Year and earned Freshman All-America honors.
Patullo created the offensive call sheet and was responsible for opponent scouting and offensive breakdown. He also assisted with the special teams game plan and on-field coaching.
Patullo started his coaching career with a two-year stint at South Florida. With the Bulls, Patullo served as the offensive graduate assistant. He conducted advance scouting and assisted with the team’s wide receivers and special teams units.
PERSONAL
Patullo was a three-year letterwinner at South Florida, seeing time at both quarterback and wide receiver. Patullo won the Golden Bull Award in ‘99 as the program’s outstanding scout team player and was a four-time Academic All-Conference USA selection. The Hillsborough, NJ native earned his B.S. from the University of South Florida (2003) and his M.A. from University of Arizona in 2006. Patullo enjoyed a successful prep career at Western High School in Weston, Florida. He suffered a broken leg prior to his senior season, but returned to play in the final two games of the year. He was selected to play in the Dade- Broward County All-Star Game in ‘98. He is married; wife Nichole and they have a daughter Lauren.
