•    Started all 16 games for the second time in his NFL career -- part of offense that allowed a league-best 23 sacks in 2011 and ranked fifth in the NFL (first in the AFC) with 4.9 yards per rush.
•    23 sacks allowed are the third-fewest in a Bills 16-game season

•    Started at RT at KC (9/11) and helped the offense produce 163 rushing yards and part of an offensive line that yielded 1.0 sack
•    Started at RT vs. OAK (9/18) and blocked for a rushing attack that produced 217 yards whole holding the Raiders to zero sacks
•    Vs. NE (9/25): started at RT on an offensive line that did not allow a sack and offense gained 448 net yards
•    at CIN (10/2): started for the fourth straight week... has appeared in 50 career games with 35 starts
•    vs. PHI (10/9): started at RT and helped block for rushing attack that tallied 143 yards ... held the then-NFL leading sack defense to one sack

•    Vs. NE (12/26): Played in his first game as a Bill and 45th of his career...spelled Mansfield Wrotto at right tackle
•    At NYJ (1/2): Started his first game as a Buffalo Bill at right tackle and played in his second straight game to close out the season

2009 w/Oakland
•    Played in 12 games, making four starts: two at left guard and two at right tackle and contributed on special teams
•    Made first career start at LG in place of an injured Robert Gallery vs. DEN (9/27)
•    Started at LG at HOU (10/4) and RT at NYG (10/11)

2008 w/Denver
•    Did not see action for the Broncos… placed on reserve/non-football illness list (10/22) after undergoing an appendectomy… inactive for the first seven games

2007 w/Denver
•    Started all 16 games at right tackle in his second year… helped the Broncos rank fifth in the NFL in yards per carry (4.6) and ninth in rushing yards per game (122.3)… blocked for five 100-yard rushing performances
•    Started the season opener at BUF (9/9), helping Denver total season bests in yards (470) and yards per play (6.5)
•    Part of an offensive effort that resulted in a season-best 223 rushing yards on 32 carries (6.2)

2006 w/Denver
•    Played in all 16 games, starting each of the final 10 contest at LT in his first full season
•    Made NFL debut on special teams at STL (9/10)
•    Made his first career start at LT vs. IND (10/29), helping team post 227 rushing yards

2005 w/Denver
•    Spent the season on the practice squad… allocated to NFL Europe and earned All-NFL Europe honors as a standout for the Cologne Centurions… started all 10 games for Cologne, three at T and seven at G

COLLEGE
A three-year starter and two-time first team All-Mountain West Conference selection… played in 48 games with 40 starts for the Rams, including starts in each games in his final two seasons… selected to play in the East-West Shrine Game and the Gridiron Classic after earning first team all-conference accolades in 2004… a preseason Outland Trophy candidate entering his junior year in 2003… named first team All-MWC as a junior… started 13 of 14 games as a sophomore… ganared honorable mention All-MWC honors… made three starts as a redshirt freshman in 2001, making first career start in win vs. Utah

PERSONAL
Two-time all-state selection in football at Kennedy (Denver, CO) High School… won three straight league wrestling titles in his weight class… also competed in track

COMMUNITY
    The Offensive Line teamed up with Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Erie County to take 20 young men holiday shopping in December.  Erik was amongst the group of players that gave an unforgettable experience to the young men.  
    Erik supported the Teammates For Kids Foundation this year by attending their annual dinner held in November.  Erik, along with his other teammates, has supported the cause which was co-founded by Garth Brooks and Bo Mitchell 6 years ago.    
    By participating in the Bills’ Community Ticket Program, Erik was able to assist numerous young fans throughout the season. Erik’s group was on hand each game and also received food and beverage coupons compliments of Erik.
